At the age of 16 Chris van der Linden started going to clubs where harder styles were played. He always enjoyed watching the dj entertain the crowd and dreamed of standing on the other side of the turntables himself one day. When he turned 18 his father gave him a helping hand by getting 2 turntables and a mixer and letting him play with those for a while.
After getting to know the equipment and the art of mixing music, he came to a youth centre where he could play for a little crowd. This made him more interested to play for bigger crowds and he started planning some parties himself.
In 3 year's time he grew up to be a great entertainer with a good mixing quality and he saw his chance to start Divertimento, his own booking agency and events organization. This way he could help a lot of other great deejays to become a well known artist in the dance scene.
